If this scenario fits you, then obtaining legal advice and filing a complaint is your next step. The complaint procedure will then be described to you and then guided by a clinical negligence solicitor. If you are still hospitalized, the first complaint goes to the medical profession in charge. You then need to explain that a formal complaint is being made and ask for a response in detail. If unhappy with the response you get, then the hospital&#8217;s complaint manager needs to hear from you. If you have already checked out of the hospital, you will need to send a letter to the Hospital Complaints Manager and that should generate an appointment for a consultation.
